Takaoka, Rose Setsuko
Rose Takaoka at the age of 90 passed away peacefully on 3/4/07 with all of her loving children present. She was the loving wife of Hal Takaoka for 71 years and is survived by him. She leaves behind her children, Kiyoko, Audrey and Kenny, her grandchildren Carlo, Spencer, Ayako and Alan and her great grandchildren Alessandra, Bianca, Emma and Eddie. We will remember her elegance and grace and her life of selfless devotion to all who knew her. Rose and Hal were the proprietors of Cornell Florist in Hyde Park for over 22 years and were able to give beauty and cheer to their many clients exemplifying their life together.
