Obituary

Erik J. Ryerson, 42, of Chicago died May 16, 2016. Loved son of Jay K. and Mary (nee Glaser) Ryerson; fond brother of Stephanie (Scott) Patterson; cherished uncle of Sagan R. Patterson. He will be deeply missed by a large network of friends, co-workers and cousins. Erik was a graduate of Wayne Valley High School and received his degree in acoustics and music from the University of Hartford. He worked at Shen Milsom & Wilke for the last 19 years, 18 of those being in Chicago. He was involved with many school and community music organizations. He was a supporter of veterans, a history buff, and a science fiction aficionado who was wise beyond his years and was taken from this world, and those who love him, much too soon.
