Obituary

Mary (nee Wada) Maruyama, born June 25, 1925 in Sumner, WA, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2016 at the home of her daughter in Chicago. Mary was the beloved wife of 60 years to George Maruyama and the loving mother to Rodney (Nancy) Maruyama, Lynn (Gary Yamagiwa) Maruyama, and Kevin (Heidi) Maruyama. She was the dear Bachan (Grandmother) to Caitlin, Jennifer and the late Brendan N. Maruyama, Mari and Jordan Yamagiwa, and Kelsey and Nick Maruyama. She was the dear sister of Maye, and the lates Kathryn, Florence, George, and Rose. Mary will always be remembered for her warm heart and spirited nature.
