Hilllel V. Gauchman, 78, of Champaign died March 18, 2016. Professor of Mathematics at Eastern Illinois University and adjunct professor at the University of Illinois. Beloved husband of 55 years to Julia; adored father of Eitan, Ruth (Doron) Blatt and Orit (Ezra) Schwartz; cherished grandfather of Ben, Yoav, Tamar, Erez and Ari; fond brother of Marina Toteva. Shiva will be held at the home of Julia Gauchman at 57 E. Delaware Pl., Apt. 2005, Chicago, IL 60611 from 2-7 p.m. Sunday, March 20 through Thursday, March 24 and on Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral services are private.
